Wasatch Concrete Lifting comes to Southern Utah every winter — December through February — and Hurricane and LaVerkin are two of the communities we serve during that time. Whether you’re dealing with a sunken driveway, a settled patio, or a sidewalk that’s become a trip hazard, we can lift and level it with polyurethane foam injection.
We’re not just passing through. We set up locally in Washington County for the season, which means we have the time, availability, and equipment to take on projects of all sizes in Hurricane and LaVerkin. Call us and we’ll get you scheduled.
Hurricane and LaVerkin sit in a valley where the soil is a mix of sandy desert soils, clay, and volcanic rock formations. While the bedrock may be solid deeper down, the upper soils — especially in newer neighborhoods built on graded and filled lots — can be unpredictable.
The Virgin River corridor brings seasonal flooding risk, and even homes well above the floodplain can see water infiltration after heavy monsoon rains. When water gets beneath a concrete slab, it erodes the soil, creates voids, and the slab begins to drop.
The hot, dry summers also cause soil to shrink and contract. Over several years of wet-dry cycles, concrete slabs that once sat on solid ground end up unsupported and start to sink unevenly.
We drill small 5/8” holes through your concrete slab, then inject a two-part polyurethane foam that expands beneath the slab. As the foam fills the voids and expands, it lifts the concrete back toward its original level. The process takes 15–20 minutes to cure, and your concrete is ready to drive or walk on almost immediately.
There’s no torn-up yard, no waiting weeks for concrete to cure, and no hauling away demolished slabs. The drill holes are small and easy to patch. Most jobs are done in a few hours.
Cost-wise, foam jacking typically runs about half the price of ripping out and pouring new concrete. In most cases, if the slab isn’t crumbling or structurally compromised, lifting it is the smarter choice.
During the winter months we serve the entire Washington County region, not just Hurricane and LaVerkin. If you’re in nearby Toquerville, Leeds, or anywhere in the Virgin River Valley, give us a call — we’re likely already working in your area.
For customers in St. George, Washington City, Santa Clara, or Ivins, see our St. George concrete lifting page for more details on the work we do there.
We also travel down for larger commercial jobs outside of our regular winter window. If you manage a commercial property and need a significant amount of concrete addressed, reach out and we’ll see what we can work out.
We’re on-site in Southern Utah December through February. If you’re thinking about getting your concrete lifted this winter, the sooner you reach out, the better — our schedule fills up quickly once we arrive.
Not sure whether your concrete can be lifted vs. replaced? Call us anyway. We’ll take a look and give you an honest assessment. If lifting isn’t the right answer for your situation, we’ll tell you that too.
