Polyurethane Foam Jacking in Utah

What Is Foam Jacking?

Foam jacking (also known as poly jacking or polyurethane foam injection) is the modern, preferred method for lifting sunken concrete. Instead of pumping heavy mud slurry beneath concrete slabs like traditional mudjacking, foam jacking uses high-density polyurethane foam that expands to fill voids and raise concrete back to its proper level.

The process starts with drilling small 5/8" holes in the sunken slab. We then inject the polyurethane foam through these holes, where it expands to fill the void beneath the concrete and gently lifts the slab. The foam cures in minutes and your concrete is ready to use within 15-20 minutes.

Benefits of Polyurethane Foam

Polyurethane foam offers significant advantages over traditional mudjacking materials:

  • Lightweight - Foam weighs only 2-4 lbs per cubic foot compared to 100+ lbs for mudjacking slurry, so it won't cause additional settling

  • Waterproof - Unlike mud slurry, polyurethane foam won't wash away or erode over time

  • Precise lifting - Foam expansion is highly controllable, allowing us to achieve exact levels

  • Smaller holes - Only 5/8" holes are needed vs. 1-2" holes for mudjacking

  • Fast cure time - Ready to drive on in 15-20 minutes

  • Permanent - Foam maintains its density and won't break down over time
