Concrete Lifting in Tooele & Grantsville, Utah

Concrete Lifting Services in Tooele County

Wasatch Concrete Lifting serves Tooele and Grantsville with the same polyurethane foam lifting service we provide across the Wasatch Front. If you have a sunken driveway, settled patio, uneven sidewalk, or any other concrete surface that has dropped out of level, we can raise it back up — fast, cleanly, and at a fraction of replacement cost.

We drill small 5/8” holes through the slab, inject expanding polyurethane foam beneath it, and the concrete rises back into position. The foam cures in 15–20 minutes and the surface is ready to use almost immediately. Most jobs are finished in a few hours.

Why Concrete Settles in Tooele & Grantsville

Tooele County sits on the eastern edge of the Great Basin, and the soils reflect that. Much of the area was once the lakebed of Lake Bonneville, leaving behind fine silts, clays, and sandy soils that compress and shift over time. When homes are built on these soils and the ground is excavated and backfilled during construction, the soil takes years to fully settle — and the concrete on top settles with it.

Irrigation runoff and spring snowmelt are also major factors. Water that gets beneath a concrete slab erodes the soil, creates voids, and the unsupported slab begins to drop. In Tooele and Grantsville, where many properties have large yards and irrigated landscaping, this is one of the most common causes of sunken driveways and patios.

What We Fix

  • Driveways — Sunken slabs, settled sections, gaps at the garage, uneven transitions to the street

  • Patios & porches — Level your outdoor living space and restore proper drainage away from the house

  • Sidewalks & walkways — Eliminate trip hazards on front walks and public sidewalks

  • Pool decks — Safe, even pool decking for your family

  • Garage floors — Lift sinking interior slabs and close gaps at the apron

  • Commercial & HOA surfaces — Parking areas, common walkways, loading areas

Why Foam Lifting Beats Replacement

Replacing a sunken concrete slab means tearing out the old concrete, hauling it away, regrading the base, pouring new concrete, and waiting days for it to cure. It’s expensive, disruptive, and slow.

Foam lifting costs roughly half as much, takes a few hours instead of days, and leaves your existing concrete in place. The polyurethane foam we use is waterproof and won’t wash away or erode the way mudjacking slurry can over time. And because it’s lightweight, it doesn’t add load to already soft or compromised soils.

If your slab isn’t crumbling or severely cracked, there’s a good chance lifting is the right answer. Call us and we’ll take a look and give you an honest assessment.
