Wasatch Concrete Lifting serves Park City and the surrounding Snyderville Basin, including Kimball Junction, Pinebrook, Jeremy Ranch, and Deer Valley. From historic Old Town homes to newer mountainside builds, we handle both residential and commercial concrete lifting throughout the area.
Park City's high elevation and heavy freeze-thaw cycles put extra stress on concrete slabs, and hillside lots with backfilled soil are prone to settling. We can lift and level driveways, patios, and walkways quickly and with minimal disruption — an especially big advantage for second homes and properties on tight HOA timelines.
A section of sidewalk in a Park City parking lot had settled right at the curb, leaving a step-down that created a real tripping hazard for pedestrians crossing between the lot and the walkway.
We used polyurethane foam injection to lift the sidewalk section back level with the curb, then sealed the joint between the sidewalk and curb to keep water from getting underneath and causing the same settlement again down the road.
The repair was completed the same day with no demolition and no lot closure. If you've got a settled walkway, curb, or parking area creating a trip hazard, call (801) 230-9798 for a free assessment.
Park City sits at over 7,000 feet, where deep frost lines and repeated freeze-thaw cycles are harder on concrete than almost anywhere else along the Wasatch Front. Water gets under slabs, freezes, expands, and gradually erodes the soil support beneath them.
Many properties are also built on steep, backfilled hillside lots, so uneven settling is common even on newer construction.
Polyurethane foam injection is well suited to these conditions — it doesn't absorb water or erode over time the way mudjacking slurry can, and it cures in about 15 minutes, so driveways and walkways are usable again the same day.
